GlendaLauraAndDonna is a talented gospel music trio composed of Glenda Cable of Bladenboro, Laura Davis of Whiteville, and Donna Williamson of Chadbourn, North Carolina. We are on a mission in 2008! After decades of service in our local churches' music ministries, we felt the call in 2006 to share with the larger body of Christ and we took our music "on the road" praying that the Holy Spirit would see us as willing vessels to share God's love and display His power. We have now completed our third recording project at Serenade Studio. The album, titled "Faith, Hope & Love" is completed and available for purchase. The previous albums are also available on this site.
GLAD is still scheduling ministry dates for 2008 and thru March of 2009. Throughout the past two years, we have repeatedly seen God break the yoke of bondage through anointed music in churches, mental hospitals, at fairs and festivals, in nursing homes, at family reunions, etc. Lives have been changed as we have shared how God uses ordinary people like us in difficult situations to bring His glory to the earth. With a style that breaks Christian music barriers, GLAD's harmonies bring a new touch to Christian songs made popular by such artists as Avalon, Brooklyn Tabernacle Choir, Joy Williams, The Isaacs, Point of Grace, The Crabb Family, Casting Crowns, The Ruppes, and Darlene Zschech. In addition, God is blessing the group with original songs such as "I Trust in You," "My New Friend", "There Will Come A Day" and "You Carry Me". GLAD uses a unique blend of songs, comedy, and heartbreaking testimony to touch their audiences. As Psalms 118:24 says, "This is the day the Lord hath made, we will rejoice and be GLAD in it."
Yes! We will travel! We have people sorrowfully say that they wished they could have us in their church but it was too far! With enough notice, and the leading of the Lord, no avenue is too far!
