GLAD's Prayer List

In our walk with Christ we have family, friends, and new friends that have special prayer request. We want to start a page that lets us keep up with the names that have been given to GLAD for remembrance in prayer. If you have a name that you would like to add on the list please let one of us know

1. GLAD that God will open the right doors and we will be a willing vessel.
2. Beatrice Grambau, for healing(Glenda and Donna's supervisor's mother).
3. Our friend, Teresa Martin, for God's wisdom and comfort. Help her to handle the pain that is in her life at this point in time.
4. For all the Churches that we have visited, that God would increase them 7-fold!
5. For our fans, that God would motivate, energize and increase knowledge of His Word in them.
6. Donna's Aunt, who is in bad health.
7. Donna's son & daughter-in-law that God would direct their paths and give Divine guidance for their future.
8. Glenda's friends son Carey Aires that is 22 years old , just found out the he has a tumor in the brain.
9. Glenda's friend Clara Thomas and family that just lost her grandson due to a car accident.
10. Our country for the economy in the shape it is in today.
11. GLAD's new project with Chapel Valley Studio in Tennessee, that God would place a special annointing on each and every song that they would truly minister to the needs of every listener who hears them. Without God's annointing, we are nothing!!!

"We have the opportunity to put the faithfulness of God on display to those
around us not because we are strong people with strong faith, but because we
are weak in courage and weak in faith. God gives us His strength in our
weakness, so "that everyone can see that our glorious power is from God and
is not our own" (2 Corinthians 4:7) Our lives become the canvas on which
God draws a picture of these words: "My power works best in your weakness".
(2 Corinthians 12:9)

    • We are interested to increase traffic to your website, please get back to us in order to discuss the possibility in further detail.

    • Enjoyed your ministry in music at the Caswell Conference this past weekend. Our girls quartet sure needed encouragement and inspiration to continue with our music and God allowed us to see this in your annointed voices. May you each be blessed in a special way as you continue to sing for his Glory! Hope to purchase some of your soundtracks in the near future. God is so Good!

    • Hope I am so sorry for the hardships that you are facing. God has a way of sending us on a path and answering our needs through other sources. We have the song on our first CD and would love to be able to get it to you. you can find this song on our Roots and Wings project. If you can send an email to gcable@sccnc.edu

    • I have been going through a tough time--my Dad has been in the hospital since December 31 and diagnosed with Parkinson's, Alzheimer's, heart failure, liver failure, pneumonia, and kidney failure. I have the wicked stepmother that was the inspiration for every Grimm's Fairy Tale involving a step-mother. Day before yesterday, I got a call that my brother, who has been in a nursing home for 5 years had taken a turn for the worse. He's 47 years old, and has been sick for the last 20 years with a brain tumor. I have a husband on disability, and a 16 year old son. I am the bread winner in my family-and was thinking about quitting my job because there is such a thing as too much on your plate at once. I have a very stressful job, and it seemed like the logical thing to scrape off my plate. I was looking for the song, "I'd Rather Have Jesus" and in a strange set of circumstances, ended up on your page that was playing "The Promise" It renewed my strength and hope. I was wondering where I could get a copy of it.

    • Just wanted to let you all know that you were such a blessing to my heart and the hearts of all the ladies that attended the Women's Retreat in Tarboro, Saturday, Sept. 18. May God continue to bless your ministry and as you praise Him in song, may many be brought closer to God through your obedience to our Heavenly Father! Keep on singin'! Hope to see you again real soon!

    • Glenda, I am an old friend of David and Margaret. We just recently connected on FB. As a huge fan of Southern Gospel Music, I was so glad to see that David's wife was ministering through song. I sang in a trio for about 15 years and truly miss it. I have so enjoyed your music on the website. Such beautiful harmonies and voices. Keep working for the Lord, using the talent that he gave you. If you are ever close to Cincinnati, please let us know! Blessings to you and the GLAD Trio!
